City of Savannah Park Savannah App
The Park Savannah App is a great way to pay for any numbered parking space through an app on your phone. Details on zones and the app can be found at https://www.savannahga.gov/2515/Parking-Meters. The busiest part of the city is $2 per hour and there are zones that are $1 per hour as well. You will still need to read Street Sweep Signs and move your vehicle(s) accordingly.
Please note ParkSavannah app takes payment for the numbered meter spots which also have credit card kiosks on the block. The majority of the city is now numbered spots. The app will not work on the remaining old fashioned coin meters that have not yet been upgraded, sorry for the inconvenience but those old fashioned meters still require coins.

There is a gluten free section too! Be sure to check out the Deli in the back of the store for organic sandwiches, salads, smoothies and prepared foods that vary daily. They also have a great supplement section and cosmetics aisle with a huge selection of non toxic bubble baths, soaps, lotions and makeup. You will find Brighter Day at the foot of Forsyth Park across from the tennis courts.

Tap Water Information for City of Savannah
We get a lot of questions about whether the tap water is safe to drink. The short answer is yes. No filter is required. Sometimes visitors think it tastes bad other times it tastes pretty good. The city has the information online and this is the 2018 detailed report regarding source and safety. Restaurants in town are serving this water and any fountain sodas, etc are made with it so drinking tap water in your rental is equivalent to that. The new 2019 report just got mailed out but is not online yet. The summary is the same.
