A Gem!
Wish I could rate this place more than five stars!! Location is everything. Right outside your front door is Forsyth park, and you are in walking distance of one of the best coffee shops in town, unique bike rentals, and the river district! Saturday mornings and the farmer's market is basically in your front yard. The place was sparkling clean and so much better than expected. The only wish I had is that there were a bigger, more stocked kitchen space as we do a lot of cooking, but I wouldn't go as far to say it is lacking! The beautiful spiral staircase adds such an elegant feel to the place and it is overall charming and quaint, a perfect size for 2-4 people. Mary also left plenty of restaurant recommendations (the ones we tried were all fantastic!) and is quick to respond to messages. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Savannah and are definitely planning on renting this gem next time we come!
Great location and very charming
This airbnb was perfect for our vacation to Savannah! It is in a great location and is very charming! We loved the loft bedroom with the staircase, the king-sized beds, and the beautiful kitchen. The host also put in some thoughtful touches with a local guide, kitchen amenities, a nice TV, and a music playing system.
Lovely hip retreat in the heart of Savannah
I was the first guest at this lovely property! The interior is decorated in a beautiful midcentury modern / boho style. It's inviting, cozy, and relaxing. The hostess left me a wonderful welcome package full of treats for my stay, and popped by my first night to make sure I was settled in comfortably. The best part for me was the bathtub! It's a wonderful Victorian claw-foot tub. I took a bubble bath every night I was there! The courtyard is a beautiful space to enjoy your morning coffee. A huge tree with Spanish moss dangles over a globally inspired patio. The kitchen is fully equipped and they supplied Keurig coffee. I loved everything about this stay! If I ever go back to Savannah I want to stay here again.
Savannah Getaway
We were up there for a short weekend trip. Beautiful park literally next door and a short Uber ride to downtown.
Great Location
My two daughters and my husband recently stayed here for two nights with the goal of enjoying downtown Savannah. This property was perfect for being able to walk to many great locations in the downtown area, yet was quiet and comfortable. It was really nice having 2 king sized beds. The only recommendation our family has is the couch and chair in the main living room are not very comfortable to sit in especially after long days of walking. This would be an easy fix. The upstairs chair is quite comfortable, but would not be used nearly as much as the main room furniture. Overall, cute and quaint place to stay in a great location!
Charming carriage house
This is a great location and the carriage house is charming. It is everything that it was described to be. The photos are accurate. The host was responsive. The amenities were as described. I didn't know it until I got to Savannah and met up with others that I very likely could have found similar accommodations less expensively. But I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the place itself, its location, its amenities or the host.
