We were very satisfied with this location and the accommodations of the home. Close to walk to many places or very cheap to Uber. Parking was never an issue to be right in front of the home and was free! Highly recommend.
Great Place to Stay!
Two pineapples cottage is a great place to stay while in Savannah! There is a pineapple theme throughout the cottage that makes the cottage a cute and fun place to be. The cottage is close enough to the downtown and river walk area to walk or drive. I had my car and there was plenty of street parking in front of the house except for the days the street was being cleaned - so I would get home early that evening to make sure you have parking on the street that night. Our stay at the cottage surpassed my experiences at other air bnb’s. I would definitely stay at Mary’s place again!
Love love love loved it! Can’t go wrong here!Great place to stay! Centrally located and easy easy check in! Loved it. Will be back
Fantastic place. It was perfect for our family of 3. Would definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful time in Savannah. This was the perfect cottage for us. We loved meeting the neighbors and visiting from the glider on the front porch. To top it off, the private courtyard in the back was perfect for our evening cocktail and relaxing. Inside was totally updated from the granite counters to a brand new bath. Loved the bamboo floors. Comfortable beds and easy walking location to the restaurants and shopping. We especially loved the Smith Brothers Butcher. Picked up some great food and cooked at the cottage. Good wine as well. Savannah Luxury Rentals was so easy to work with. They made everything so smooth. We would definitely come back to Savannah and the Two Pineapples Cottage.
This was such a great cottage. We loved the quaint street and private courtyard. We even got to watch the neighbors harvest their local honey from their hives. We were able to walk to lots of attractions downtown and it was an easy short drive to the beach as well. Very clean and comfortable and we would definitely return and recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage and wished we could have stuck around a little longer. The area felt safe and parking was no problem at all. It was a quick drive to the riverfront area and downtown, and the location was also convenient to attractions to the east and south of downtown--no more than two or three minutes to the major highways leading east and south. Likewise, Tybee Island was less than half an hour away and easily accessed. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, with a nice kitchen and bath and comfortable beds; I'd say the pictures represent it quite accurately. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. We'd definitely stay here again if we returned to Savannah. (Some other recommendations: do one of the trolley tours if you don't know the city--we did the Old Savannah tour and it was excellent, and go to Clary's for lunch, which was quite good.)
My sister and I had a great one-week stay in this fantastic cottage. The home has been completely remodeled, with a new kitchen and bath. It was spotless when we arrived, and we were able to quickly settle in and begin enjoying the sights of Savannah. The neighborhood was quiet, and just a few blocks from the attractions and shopping. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, and we happily recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home during your stay in Savannah. We think you will enjoy it as much as we did.
This cottage is perfect for 2 people looking to enjoy all of historic Savannah. The accommodations were great, comfy bed, great water pressure and a washer/dryer in house. Just a few blocks in 2 directions to the city's free bus service...what a plus! Walk or ride, no car needed. One suggestion I would have, is to add a safety bar in the tub. There is nothing to grab hold of, if you slip. Also, a local tv channel line up would be great. Not that we were home much for tv watching, but knowing the channels for the news would be helpful. Definitely would book again, if in the area.
We are so appreciative of this and all the other reviews. Thank you so much. Your suggestion of a grab bar is one that we are definitely researching and hope to install soon. And we will print a channel guide for the Comcast Xfinity lineup.
A friend and I spent a girls’ weekend here and it was perfect! It’s an easy walk to the downtown area. The street was really quiet and we had no trouble finding parking. The back patio was a lovely spot for a pre-dinner cocktail. We would definitely stay here again!
My best friend of 55 years, my 2 little dogs and I had a great 4 night stay at this property. It was close by a school to walk my furboys and clean up. The people on the street were friendly. We opted not to move out cars but once since it was parallel parking and the street was full so we used Lyft for our needs which was cheap and convenient and took less than 3 minutes to be picked up at any point we were at in Savannah. The queen bed was very comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and clean. The living room also had comfy furniture and large enough for late night gal talks. There really wasn't any room for the dogs to walk in the backyard as far as tinkling although it was a lovely area, but just too humid to sit out. A fall outing would be perfect out there! The bathroom had updates as did the whole house. We would stay there again either with our spouse's or as a gal's weekend again. Easy access to everything. Clean and the owner and her assistant wonderful to work with! Thank you so much
The home is not too large nor too small. It is maintained in excellent condition. The location is outstanding. Close enough to walk to everything and still the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone spending time in Savannah.
We stayed at the Two Pineapples Cottage while evacuated from our home due to Hurricane Flo. It was pet friendly and we had our two dogs with us. Perfect, as it had a nice little fenced patio where they could go out on their own, rather than having to be walked all the time. The cottage was very nicely renovated, very clean, and comfortable. Close to a dog park and just 10-15 minutes to walk to great restaurants (also dog friendly). We will definitely stay again since our daughter is a student at SCAD and we visit Savannah frequently. Mary is a great hostess. Easy to reach and very helpful. (We had a small issue with sugar ants in kitchen and bathroom while we were there, but not a big deal as long as counters and dishes were kept clean:-))
This place is a gem. Everything about it is new, updated, clean, and shiny. We were only here for two nights but we absolutely picked the right place. We could have walked to a lot of places but as the weather was chilly we drove and everything was within 5-10 minutes. Honestly we weren't in the cottage very much but loved using the refrigerator and we even took advantage and used the washer/dryer. We did sit outside briefly while I used my lap top (they have wi fi) to check out some restaurants and it was really nice to have a private place to sit outside and do that. Not sure when we'll be in Savannah again (we loved it but were only passing thru) but we would go back to this cottage. There is a caution about parking during the weekday, during the day. Twice we left the cottage early, like 8:00 am and workman took a lot of parking spots but we did still find probably the last spot on the street.
The only problem was the living room rug was filthy. It should be removed, we almost considered not staying there because of the initial presentation. That was very disturbing, I had to wear my shoes because of it. The rest of the unit was clean and comfortable.
Thanks for the 5 stars Dawn! The living room rug was a plain tan sisal rug and it had a faint coffee spill stain which we did not think was so bad. But obviously it was bothering some guests so we have changed it! We have a nice new rug that is easier to clean in the living room now as of May 25, 2019.
We loved the city and Tybee Island. The sweet little house was exactly as stated in listing - very clean with all amenities. The entire property is fenced and we felt comfortable letting our small dog into the back yard. The neighborhood was quite and very close to downtown Savannah. Parking was free and never an issue during our 4 day stay.
