Mary's place is so historic and unique--way better than staying in a commercial hotel! Easy check in and wonderful location--we walked everywhere. Definitely check it out if you are in town :)

A charming apartment with the perfect location for someone who wants to explore Savannah by foot. There is even a grocery store and coffee shop just around the corner! Will definitely recommend to any friends who visit Savannah.

Great stay in an authentic, historical Savannah home. Mary was a great host and provided clear instructions for check in/out. Little touches like local guides, shampoo/conditioner, bug spray etc were pleasant and appreciated surprises. I definitely recommend staying at the George Baldwin house!

Mary's place is awesome. The home is a large older style home that really embraces the old victorian style of the city. The place was clean, well lit & home-y on top of that the bathroom is awesome and adds a bit of extra style. I would recommend Mary's place to anyone and would definitely stay again!

This place was so charming and the setting was perfect for our visit. The bedding was comfortable and my kids get a taste of what it's like to sleep in a beautiful four-poster bed. We are a family of three and it worked well for us with the additional single bed in the kitchen/dining area. The location was perfect. There is a coffee shop for tea/sandwiches/pastries, a big grocery store, beautiful houses to see and the Forsyth Park, all in 2~3 blocks distance. The garden was a great little place to have coffee and tea and just take in how lovely the neighborhood is. We all wished we could stay longer in Savannah. We will definitely stay at Mary's place again when we visit next time because it was such a great experience.

This place is a great value and was clean. The location is very good; only a couple of blocks from Forsyth Park and there is a grocery store a block over. A couple of things to keep in mind is that this is a historic home and has not been updated with a lot of amenities that you may be accustomed to. Overall I would recommend this place, we had a great time.

This is a great rental if you want to imagine how the wealthy lived at the start of the 20th century. It’s a grand old house and yes it’s showing a little age, (so would you at 150!) but it’s clean and has all modern amenities. Even my college age daughter enjoyed the stay. We had a few questions for Mary and she provided prompt responses. My only regret is that I couldn’t see the rest of the house. We would definitely rent it again. It’s within walking distance to most of the attractions in town. You might want to drive if going to the river walk. Kroger is literally next door and as a bonus has a Starbucks. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We had a great time in Savannah.

The stately, imposing Queen Anne style mansion known as the George Baldwin House stands proudly at on Hall Street. Tucked in a corner of this rambling, mysterious 1880's home is the George Baldwin Suite. If you desire a trendy, chic unit, don't stay here. It's that simple. Mary can match your needs to another of her many locations. But if you want to take a step back in time, to the early days of the telephone, electric lights, and before automobiles, this suite may be ideal. It's perfect for one or two people as it has a twin bed separate from the spacious bedroom complete with poster bed with wonderful crocheted canopy, original or period furniture and art. The original radiators are still in place, and a beautiful painted wood screen stands in front of the fireplace. This home will envelop you at night, and the spirits who dwell here will watch over you. Please respect them for sharing their home. But if you choose to scoff, beware in the labyrinth of hallways and staircases. They're quite dim.
