This place is awesome!!! If you want a stay that is historic and charming stay here! The house is cutely decorated and secure with two large bedrooms, 1 shared bathroom, kitchen and outdoor living room (screened in). The air condition worked great (a real concern in Georgia heat!) and the historic details is all over in the doors, hardwood floors, and exposed brick. The owner is extremely responsive. If there was an issue she responded within 2 minutes and all the instructions are extremely simple. She left an awesome books of tips with restaurants and sites to see that was very helpful . The house was clean and stocked with towels, dishes, and linens. The location can not be beat! It is walkable to almost everything and right next to a Kroger. Its no more than a 5 minute Uber from almost anything. The only "negative" is the TV is very small and I only say negative because some people do like to gather and watch a movie/TV show, etc during vacation. That wasn't the focus really and wasn't bad for me but I know for some people that is important , so FYI. Wifi worked great. I would highly recommend this location.

Fantastic spot, walkable to everything thats best about Savannah. Its a very charming, unique apartment with a definite old southern feel. We would certainly stay again.

Overall great rustic place. Outside area is open air with a couch. Can sleep up to 4. Make sure you turn the air units on first thing when you get there.

My Mom and I stayed there for a short girls trip and it was very close to a Kroger and the recommendations in the book where great. I loved the original fixtures and some of the old historic things left in the room. My Mom grew up in an older home with a lot of the same details and she kept pointing out all of the things that reminded her of her childhood home!

We loved the location! It was easy walking to the park and downtown. The garden area was lovely.

After staying in Savannah before I knew about where to stay vs not to stay, so when it came to picking an Airbnb and budgeting price and location, Mary;s place was perfect! It was so nice being a minute walk from Forsyth park and the city itself is so walkable thats really the best part. Check in was very simple and the space was perfect for my friend and I! (Also the mattress in one of the rooms is like sleeping on a cloud!) we loved how there was a binder with recommendations for all different kinds of food places! Also, the street the house faces is all free parking which was amazing (just be sure to watch out for the street cleaning signs). Thanks again Mary for a great place, would definitely recommend!

Mary's place was fantastic and everything I hoped it would be. It has loads of character and historical details. The apartment was very clean and tidy. It's in a great location, just steps from a Kroger and cute little coffee shop. The area feels safe and walking through the neighborhood is enjoyable. Even though it's located close to all there is to offer in Savannah, it's also a bit out of the hustle and bustle so it's easy to relax and unwind. Check in was super easy. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.

The location was excellent for our family of 4, my wife and I brought our 2 grown children a son and daughter. The home had a lot of character and we found it very clean. If you want a perfect Hyatt Regency Hotel then pay 4 times the price and you will get it. The parking was easy and getting to and from the historic district with all the night life was just a 1/2 mile away. There was a Kroger grocery store 100 yards away and it was convenient and we made several trips over there. There was plenty of room and the place was very clean and ready. Savannah is a unique place and a lot to do so the trip was great. We ate one night at the Pink House down near the square and went out to Tybee Island and went to the Crab Shack, both places were excellent. We also went to several other restaurants and every one was spot on. We would definitely stay here again and I have recommended it to several of my friends. Remember this is a historical city and this is a historical home so if a door here or there gets a little stuck, just pull up and give it a bump. Yes it had a free standing AC in one room and a window unit in another but they kept the place plenty cold and it was June. This place is not for 10-15% of the people that are picky about every item and want to walk into a brand new home right out of better homes and garden. All 4 of us are college graduates and my children made the comment several times how this was so much better than staying in a hotel. Thanks again we really enjoyed the place.

It is true there are many vacation rentals in town that are fully renovated and as slick as a nice hotel, and I manage some of them myself, but they cost much more than this apartment and anyone who is up for a really cool adventure without being a perfectionist will be quite happy here.
