2BR/2BA Telfair Loft 413 Modern Condo in 1849 Building
Savannah, Georgia, United States 31401
This unit is in the building above Banana Republic at the most prime location one could dream of in Savannah's Historic District. On the corner of Broughton Street and Barnard Streets, this condo provides proximity to restaurants, boutiques, museums, banks, business services, etc. There's hardly a need that cannot be met within a half mile radius of this rental. This unit would be an ideal short term executive rental or a nightly vacation rental. This unit has alley side windows for a more quiet experience while staying in the heart of the action.
The building was originally built in 1849 and was always a part of the city center.
A King bedroom with en suite full bathroom, a Queen bedroom with another full bathroom next to it. A large sectional convertible sofa is designed to create a spacious Queen size sleeping area in the living room.
We are lucky to have a 24/7 garage access card for our guests at this condo. The garage is one block away from the building and parking for one car is covered with a small $10 flat fee to use our access card. If you do not wish to use our garage card or have additional vehicles, all day parking on street and at select parking garages is best handled with a Visitors Parking Day Pass. The Pass is $15 per 24 hours or $24 per 48 hours as of 2018. This can be purchased from the Visitors Center on MLK, the Parking Services office on Bryan or the 17hundred90 Inn front desk at 302 E Presidents Street.

My cousin and I had a great trip staying at this well-located loft. We did have some issues, but it was mostly our fault; my cousin read the check in instructions but forgot that you shouldn't leave your car unattended in alley (in Chicago where I live, you can). We had parked in the garage, but the garage said "full" when I came back from the grocery. I panicked (driving around Savannah is kind of confusing to me) and parked in alley to drop off groceries. 5 minutes later I had a ticket. So listen when the manager says ONLY leave car there with a person in it. I wish I had know that you could still park in the garage when full. That was not detailed anywhere that I saw or could easily find after the fact. That was frustrating, as was the check in process whereby the onus is on you to reach out to them to get your check in information (unlike EVERY other Airbnb and VRBO I've ever stayed at where they contact you with check in information). I texted them as instructed, no one responded and I had to follow up, which is a mental burden thing that I find irritating on principle. Apart from these two issues, it was a great place, very central, quiet, roomy. Questionable decorating tactics (partial doors to closets mostly showing the contents such as vacuum cleaner, huge bundle of wires going into wall in kitchen, bar chairs that wobble when you sit in them), so if you're looking for charming southern style, I would not look here, but if you're looking for a comfortable place that has what you need, it was great. The garage is a bit more than a block away, but it's close, and you won't need your car. Oh, also, the wifi was worse than regular cell service, but when I searched for an earring behind a dresser, I saw that the Google booster was unplugged, so that might have been partly why.
What a great place to spend the Labor Day Weekend. The condo was located close to restaurants and shopping. River Street was just a short walk away and parking was secure/well lit and reasonably priced in Robinson Parking Garage. We took a cooking class at The Mansion on Forsyth during one rainy day. This is our 3rd time at 110 Barnard. We love it! The checkin was super easy and the property is secure with two coded doors. The condo is a beautiful and “artsy” loft with fantastic views from its location on the 4th floor. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a washer/dryer in case it’s needed after a day trip to Tybee Island. Highly recommend!
The loft was a perfect place to experience Savannah and catch up with friends. Plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and two nice size bathed. The location was amazing. Just park your car in the parking garage provided and everything is within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!
This loft was in the perfect location. Easy (less than 5 min) walk to Bay Street with all the little shops and my fav restaurant on the river, Vic’s. Vic’s and Rooftop Deck were great spots for viewing the container ships passing by. Also easy (15 min) walk to Forsyth Park. Perfect location for shopping. The loft was very comfortable. Sofa sectional with ottoman was great for watching tv. Bathrooms were stocked with necessities. Beds were very comfortable. Washer and dryer were as good as home. Second bedroom doesn’t have a wall to the ceiling so you don’t get absolute privacy in that room. Lots of charm with wood beams and brick walls. Loft was very quiet and elevator was always waiting to take us to 4th floor. Never heard any neighbors in the secure building. Overall, Telfair loft can’t be beat!
Wow. This is our second time in the condo and we have such a great time every time we visit. It’s spacious and roomy with all the comforts of home. The location can’t be beat. It was so nice to be able to park in the parking garage and walk everywhere...all weekend. We enjoyed a day trip to Tybee Island but that was the only time we pulled the car out. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked too.
This condo was great. Met all our expectations and then some. The location was right in the middle of everything in the historic district. This made it so easy to drop stuff off or pick stuff up or rest. And, we got the feel of the historic district. Like other reviewers, we parked our car the first day and never moved it until we left. This place is outstanding. Hope to stay here again!
Several high school friends spent the weekend at the spacious loft. We loved it, free parking space located close to the property was a huge bonus. This property was convenient to everything we wanted to do. The bedrooms were large and quiet. The bathrooms were also a great size and was all we needed. Would stay here again!
Stayed here for a week with my wife and my mom and dad before heading to the Masters in Augusta. Everything from the check-in process to the beautiful condo were perfect! Only minor complaint is the WI-FI is pretty slow and lost its connection a couple times. Not a major deal breaker, just an inconvenience. Would highly recommend this for your next trip to Savannah!
Six of us gals in this loft for a weekend getaway and we had plenty of space. Perfectly located to access all fun things to do in Savannah. Mary was a great host, I texted her requesting a late check out (one hour) and she immediately responded. Mary made herself available via text, which was great. I would have given it five stars but when opening up the WiFi there was one WiFi that said "413 We Hear Everything"..... This was a little weird.
This is a condo building with 7+ vacation rentals and a few permanent residents. I used to live here years ago and am familiar with every unit. The condo below this one has a long term renter currently who thinks it is funny to name his wifi network that. Sorry it bothers our guests I wish I could make him change it but I really can't. Do not be too creeped out because it is just because footsteps from 413 that sound pretty loud below. And the great thing is if you are in 413 nobody is above you and 413 has no shared walls so you won't sympathize with his issues :)
Love the location- we parked our cars when we arrived & didn’t have to use them again until we left. Decor of the unit was cute & the layout of the space was perfect for our small group of 5 girls. Nice modern kitchen & appliances & mattresses in the bedrooms were soft and comfy. Would stay here again!
Wow. From the moment you walk in...feels like you're stepping into a photo from Metropolitan Home magazine. This condo, literally steps away from everything, was beautiful and comfortable for my family of 6 over the Labor Day Weekend. The city views were an added bonus. Parking is free in the covered garage which is a plus in the busy downtown/River Street/Marketplace area. I would highly reccommend this condo.
We planned on stopping in Savannah for a short stay while we drove to Florida and this condo was more affordable than a hotel for the two nights we visited. Parking was easy and convenient with the provided public parking garage pass, but you won't need to move your car during your stay as everything is within walking distance. Besides the great location (you can walk everywhere that you'd ever want to see in downtown Savannah), this condo is very unique looking on the inside and has a certain charm to it being a modern-looking space in an older renovated building. Getting in and out of the building is easy, as is getting into the unit after a long day of sightseeing. We often took the stairs on the way down each day, but the elevator was our salvation getting back up to the fourth floor after spending time in the lovely Savannah heat. Don't be afraid to venture outside, pick a direction, and just start walking until you find something interesting - it won't take long!
Staying downtown is the only way to experience Savannah. We were originally going to pay for two hotel rooms out of town and drive in every day. That would have been very inconvenient. With the price of two rooms, the hassle of driving in, paying for parking etc., the cost on your wallet and cost on your general well being would have worn us down. We decided staying out of town would have been a disaster. Staying downtown was for the most part cost-effective. With being downtown, everything was a short walk away. If we got tired, we simply came back to the loft to relax for a while then we could hit the streets again refreshed. Too hot, come back to cool off. Raining, come back to dry off. Something as simple as needing to go to the restroom could prove to be a challenge. Not so with the loft just minutes away. The loft itself was very comfortable. Having your own amenities at your disposal is something you just can't get at a hotel. We didn't prepare meals because we were on vacation, but we certainly could have if we chose. All the conveniences of home (kind of). Wi-Fi was pretty poor for this day and age, but an annoyance more than anything. We had a few questions when we arrived, but all were promptly addressed to our satisfaction. If we were to "Do Savannah" again, we would certainly stay here again. we could not have done all the things we did if we were to have stayed at a hotel, whether downtown or not. Staying at the loft proved to be a large part of having a very, very enjoyable vacation. Thanks again.
The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. As great as the amenities were the location is what made this place outstanding. A very short walk to River Street. Mary was very easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property or one of Mary's other properties.
Great space and location
This was our first time using a rental as opposed to a hotel and we will never do a hotel again! This place exceeded our expectations and was just great to be so close to everything, cook when we wanted, having a big fridge, and nice showers. Mary is quick to respond if you need anything - she came within an hour to bring extra sheets as the tropical storm came in the day we drove in and caused a slight leak. Thanks Mary!
This place is amazing and has plenty of room. Close to many great bars, shops, restaurants, etc. Parking is about 1.5 blocks away in the garage. Only downside is the broken elevator. Lugging stuff up and down the stairs is no fun and an unneeded workout on my vacation. Highly recommended place to stay.
Our elevator is now working! From 2015 until now I disclosed on the ad that the planned renovation would result in periods that the elevator was shut down for the equipment installation. This was a major undertaking with a tricky timeline and I did my very best to notify and work with guests during that period based on their ability to do the walkup. This building location is so fantastic that very few people chose to move or cancel based on this info. As it turned out we had guests using the stairs regularly. We are beyond thankful that time period is over now and guests can ride to the 4th floor. - Mary Anderson, Jun 16, 2016
The condo is very spacious and was actually bigger and more impressive than it looked in the photos. The loft style with high ceilings and exposed brick is great. Loved the kitchen area. Great location for sightseeing, bars and restaurants. Also, only a few blocks from River St. The elevator was not in working order which made lugging our luggage up four flights good exercise! All in all, a good alternative to a hotel. We were four adults and liked being able to have breakfast in and having a place to hang out when we got back in the evening. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This condo is stunning!! You should stay here!! The only issue was the elevator--it was not working at the time of our stay. We knew that, and stayed anyway. Four flights of stairs with all of your stuff is pretty tiring. But, we still loved it, and we would stay again! The parking deck is about a block or so away. We basically unloaded in the alley beside the building and the guys went and parked the car. Great location and close to everything!
We were here for a long weekend over Labor Day, and the apartment was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic, just a couple blocks from the water and in the heart of downtown, steps away from the art museums and tons of bars and restaurants. Check in was a breeze, and it was great to have the garage access card for our car. There was plenty of room for 5 of us and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is huge and beautiful but we ate out all the time and so didn't take advantage of it. We had everything we could need, and it was a lovely home away from home. Highly recommend.
We were there for a week to attend a family wedding. The location was fantastic for everything you may want to do in downtown Savannah. The condo was nice and roomy for the 4 of us. It was nicely appointed but very "liveable". No problems whatsoever. The manager was very nice and provided us with everything we needed to make our stay fabulous!
We were fortunate to be able to rent this unit at the last minute because of a cancellation. The unit was in a great location and easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It was clean and attractive. Would certainly stay here again. The manager was also very easy to work with.
I recently stayed here for a bachelorette weekend getaway and could not have asked for more! We stayed for 2 nights. I have been to Savannah multiple times & this is by far my favorite place to stay yet! Parking was so convenient, & it was wonderful to be able to walk everywhere from the condo. There are TONS of restaurants, bars, & shopping right at the condo. We wanted to stay near River Street and the Ellis square area and both were very close-just a short walk! The condo was beautiful and very clean. We slept six people comfortably just as advertised. The couch was very comfy and large enough for two people to sleep on. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Savannah for a great price!
We spent 3 nights and 4 days here and it was absolutely PERFECT! There were 6 of us girls that stayed for a girls long weekend and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. The couch pushes together for a third bed and was actually comfortable! It is within walking distance to everything and anything you want to see and do in Savannah. The apartment was super clean and Mary is oh so nice and extremely helpful. Check in and out was easy and the parking garage was close by and it was convenient to just park the truck and enjoy our stay worry free. I can't say enough about how awesome this place is and highly recommend it for your stay in beautiful Savannah!!
We visit Savannah once a year. In the past, we have stayed at a hotel. Staying at this condo was so much better! We felt like locals. It was so fun to enter this beautiful home after a full day of sightseeing. The location could not be better. Our favorite restaurants and shops were easily walked to. We started looking for a condo for our annual trip because we had a baby. This one was perfect! My parents were with us for the trip. The condo had more than enough for our party of 5 plus baby. Beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. That's saying a lot right now! We will definitely be back.
We came down to Savannah for a girls weekend. The apartment was easy to find and the parking garage is super convenient. The apartment is so comfortable and beautiful. We absolutely loved the location because we felt like everything was literally just around the corner from us. Mary made great suggestions for us on where to eat. This apartment made our trip amazing and we would certainly come again!
This condo was perfect for my husband, me, and our daughter and 2 granddaughters. Very spacious and the location was great for sightseeing in historical Savannah. The only suggestion I could make would be to provide couple extra washcloths and dish towels. Would definitely rent this property again!
Well appointed, nicely renovated and perfectly situated loft for touring Savannah's historic district, shopping or having fun with friends. Great gathering room with tons of light, exposed brick and nice comfortable seating. Would definitely stay there again.
The location absolutely cannot be beat. Closest place to stay near the historic district that's not a hotel. Beware though, the elevator is very old and a little scary. Home was clean and well stocked, with the exception of wash cloths for the bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this home!
The Loft good like the picture. The place was within walking distance to everything we hardly used our care which was in the garage place which came with the loft. Mary was great we had problems with getting the TV to work and she came and got it working. The instruction could be better explained. Would stay here again if in town. We ate at Goosefeathers for breakfast which is within a block and good
This is located perfectly and in the central area of the historic district. Only a 8 minute walk to River Street. Surrounded by shops and eateries. The condo itself was very nice and efficiently stocked. I will definitely stay there again. I would caution elderly or disabled individuals; the beds are very low to the ground making it difficult to get up and the elevator is old. It went out while there but the owner responded quickly and it was fixed the same day.
We were luck enough to stay in Telfair 413 for 2 nights in May. We decided on the trip last minute and had to book in a hurry. The agent was very responsive and accommodating. The loft was a great, comfortable place that suited us well. Great location and great amenities.
We had a great time, loved the loft. For 2 couples and 1 child this was way better than 2 hotel rooms. Cooked our own breakfast and returned for rest and wine before heading out to dinner. Beds were comfortable, unit was very clean, easy key code access. Location was key, we walked everywhere. Recommend a 2nd hair dryer and possibly an upgrade to the current one. MLK parade came right down Broughton St making checkout interesting since our car was on the other side of Broughton. Newbies to Savannah we did a 90 min trolley tour, GA Railroad Museum, River St., free ferry ride, & Bonaventure Cemetary. Loved Soho South brunch & Tequila Town mex. Missed Jenn & Friends 300 martinis, they were closed on Sunday.
This place is a find! The pictures online are great but staying here feels even better. The decor is modern but very comfortable and works really well with the historic core of the unit from old Savannah grey bricks to exposed ceiling joists. So you definitely feel like you're in old Savannah, but also part of the vibrant air that is cast by the local art scene. It's definitely not your run of the mill vacation rental. It’s authentic and decorated in a way that makes it feel like your own home; we were completely blown away! And the best part is that the unit is located in the absolute heart of historic downtown. When you get here park the car and forget it, you can walk everywhere. It's only a few blocks away form the Savannah River and two blocks away from City Market. The other cool feature was that, although it’s in the heart of the action and right on Broughton Street, the unit faces southwest so it’s peaceful and quiet. After a full day walking the streets and taking in the sights, it always felt like we were coming home. OK onto the more mundane details. The place was super clean, has everything you need in the kitchen, and the towels and sheets are all new and comfy. I really cannot think of anything else this place needs or should have. The owner/management was spot on with every demand and scheduling concern, key delivery, and was there for any question that popped up. This place is amazing and made our stay in Savannah so much more special. When we go back to Savannah we are definitely going to book here again!
Extremely happy with our stay
Wow! So much better than we expected. First of all, the location is ideal. Right in the heart of everything. So easy to walk everywhere. The only time we drove our car was to go to Tybee Island. The view of Broughton street was great from the living room and master bedroom. I like to hear the city sounds and people watch from the windows. The building is adorable with a safe side entrance. The interior space was much larger than expected. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The home is tastefully decorated and can easily accommodate a large group. The living room area has a lot of seating and was perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Everything you need is literally steps outside the door. We were extremely happy with our stay and communication with the host. I would not hesitate to return and to recommend this home to anyone visiting Savannah. There is no way I would stay at a hotel after staying here. It’s perfect!!!
Would definitely stay here again!
Broughton street is where it’s at. What a pleasure to be so close to all the restaurants and shops and places of interest. No planning needed. Just walk out the door and enjoy what Savannah has to offer instantly. We came with a six and a two year old. Having so many things nearby made all the difference. We considered staying in a little further away from river walk for a calmer more private stay but are certain having stayed here that the trade off between being close to everything and noise was the right choice. Yeah it was a bit loud on our first night there, Saturday. Not so the other nights. White noise machine included in the Airbnb made a great difference. But it’s not the burbs. It’s a city with a lot of life and noise comes with the territory. :) Everything we needed was there. Small touches like soap, shampoo and plenty of towels and toiletries, books, movies and board games were appreciated. The included parking was a huge plus! Arriving Saturday night after an 8 hour road trip with two kids and looking for street parking at peak hours would have been a royal pain. We pulled up to the front door, unloaded and I went off to park a block and a half away and was back in five. No stress. Road tripped out of town to Charleston and Tybee on a couple of occasions and having parking came in super handy. Large enough for our family of four to have ample room to not fee constrained and feel right at home. Outside of check in and reservation we didn’t communicate much with the host. There was no need. Instructions were great and the place didn’t disappoint. Would definitely stay here again!
Amazing spacewith plenty of room for 6
This is an amazing space with adorable interior design and a plentiful amount of space (even for 6 people). It also has a very convenient location with the simplest check in routine. Mary was very quick to respond and everything was laid out clean and simple as far as any instructions go.
Perfect location and apartment for a trip to Savannah. You are right in the middle of everything Savannah has to offer. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook meals at home, the layout and design of the apartment is awesome, and it is so nice to be able to walk everywhere. Perfect rental!
Transport you back in time
Add to your historical journey while visiting Savannah, a city so beautiful even General Sherman refused to lay waste to her, a stay at the Telfair loft will give you a sense of being transported back in time but with modern amenities. The location is ideal for walking and enjoying the entire area without driving around and dealing with parking. Telfair also offers a indiscreet point of refuge should you over indulge and need a quick moment to reflect.
