Gorgeous granite counter tops in the kitchenette, bar table, queen bed and easy chairs plus large flat screen tv will make you feel at home in this romantic retreat. Bathroom has walk in shower. A "carriage house" is a behind a main house, which is a common setup in Savannah. The private entrance for this unit is in the Lane (alley) that is technically Perry Lane and there are stairs to the main living space. This is above a garage. The balcony overlooks a shared patio. There is no shared interior space in terms of bedroom/bathroom that is all private for you during your stay.
You have a private stairwell leading to your private interior studio. The studio has a mini kitchen, private bathroom with real door, Queen bed and sitting area. The garage below is shared with the owner but when she is out of town you would be permitted to put your car in her spot so just ask! The laundry machines in the garage are for guests to use any time.

This was our first time visiting Savannah, Great place! very clean and cozy. Location is superb, Walking distance to everything the city has to offer. Will book again in the future.
perfect location, clean and convienent
Mary's place is conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Free city shuttles pick up right around the corner, but we were walking distance to most things as well. Super clean apartment with excellent AC, which is a must in the Savannah heat. Owner leaves plenty of suggestions on local places to eat and things to do. Great experience.
Great stay for business
This is a perfect location for one person or a couple staying in Savannah. I stayed here in lieu of a hotel for a week of business around the city. I was able to walk to downtown every night for dinner and enjoy the sights. The unit was clean, quiet and an all-around wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing location
The carriage house was in an amazing location for exploring everything Savannah has to offer. All restaurants and sights are within easy walking distance and the carriage house was a nice quiet place to retreat to at night. It was the perfect size for a couple for a quick stay. I would recommend Mary's place to anyone looking for a convenient and clean location to explore Savannah!

When looking for a place to stay in Savannah this air bnb was found and when we stepped in it was exactly as it was portrayed in the advertisements. Walking in it was very clean and in order. There were a lot of towels available and paper products. All our needs were met very well and I would stay there again. Great location in Savannah!
Perfect couples getaway
Excellent little carriage house in the Historic District. Short walk (or cheap Uber) to everything in the area, all the way down to River Street. Mary even provides a list of recommended restaurants and tours. Definitely recommend for a couples or solo stay in what I consider the greatest city in America.
Clean and Cozy!
This place was perfect! The location is ideal & it's very clean and cozy. I was able to use the garage, which was a nice perk.
